The Scholary Publishing Hose "Śląsk" in Katowice is commencing the edition of the work (of around 720 printed pages) which is the result of an exceptional scholarly event the European Association of Schools of Social Work Congress (EASSW) organized in Łódź, 2001. It is a complete collection of papers and speeches which took place at that prestigious assembly. The book contains 79 texts by Polish and foreign authors, it documents the variety of contemporary theories and research methods, and demonstrates a wide range of statements by representatives of different generations and research environments from almost all of Europe.
