Zawiera prace w języku polskim i ukraińskim, w tym: studia historyczno - politologiczne, metodologiczne, komparatystyczne, teatrologiczne, muzykologiczne, filmologiczne oraz dotyczące kultury materialnej Lwowa w wieku XX - autorstwa przedstawicieli różnych dyscyplin humanistycznych z UAM oraz badaczy ze Lwowa i z Kijowa. Zainteresuje nie tylko ukrainistów, ale również przedstawicieli innych dziedzin humanistyki.

This volume is divided into several sections according to the problems discussed. The first one deals with Polish-Ukrainian historical and political relations in the 20th century, the second, dis-cusses historical and theoretical literary issues, especially the ones which concern the first thirty years of the 20th century when the Polish-Ukrainian contacts were much more vivid than after World War II The third part deals with mutual relations and inspirations in the field of drama, theatre, cinema and music. The Last area of studies touched upon is connected with the myth of Lviv in Polish culture, and, in particular, with interpretations of this myth by researchers in the field of literature and cinema at the turn of the century.
