The point of departure of the reflection on Bogusław Schaeffer`s dramaturgy presented in this book is its dual nature. His works, based equally on the musical techniques of composition and on the rules of literary poetics, offer a new kind of scenic dialogue, new hero, and also original construction pf theatrical space. Problems of the texts discussed here are concentrated on (around) the three themes which are the key ones in Schaeffer`s works: music, theatre and philosophy. The context indicated in the book for all of them appears to be not only the modern musicological and philosophical thought but also strict (exact) sciences, mainly physics and the theory of chaos.
