Price for an individual customer
The price (including Air Mail postage) of subscription to Acta Protozoologica for 2007
The price is stated in Polish currency according to the daily rate of exchange announced by National Bank of Poland.
This issue of the journal is the first published by Jagiellonian University, Krakow. Although we retained the traditional name Acta Protozoologica, the journal will remain open for any kind of research in protistology, from molecular phylogeny to various aspects of cell biology and ecology. Except for the new cover, marking the change of the editor, the general format of the journal will remain unchanged and no significant changes have been introduced to the Instructions for Authors.
We wish to express our sincere thanks to the outgoing editor-in-chief Jerzy Sikora and his co-workers at the editorial office, as well as to Leszek Kuznicki (the outgoing chairman of the editorial board), for their long and very productive work to the benefit of the journal. Under their supervision Acta Protozoologica attained the present-day high editorial level and a steady growth of its impact factor has been observed. We hope that the inevitable difficulties, related to the change of the editorial office and the publisher, will not affect this evident tendency. Jerzy Sikora, who kindly shared his great experience with the new editorial office, was of invaluable help during this transition time, making it possible to prepare and publish the present issue without any delay.
We believe that Acta Protozoologica will continue to contribute to the fast development of knowledge in a variety of research fields concerning the fascinating world of eukaryotic microorganisms and will remain an important source of such knowledge for a broad public of biologists.
